Bayern boss says Kane has done everything to be involved for Madrid trip | OneFootball

Harry Kane is in Bayern’s squad for the trip to Real Madrid, with Max Eberl saying the striker has done everything to be involved after recent injury concerns.

According to BuLi News, Eberl said Kane took part in the final training session and that whether Kompany uses him is the coach’s decision, though his presence with the group is encouraging.

Eberl described meetings between Real Madrid and Bayern as carrying a special intensity, noting they are the two clubs with the most titles in the Champions League and European Cup.

Bayern have not won any of their last eight Champions League matches against the 15-time European champions, yet Eberl believes there is a genuine chance to change that.

He said the team travel with confidence and the humility demanded by the Bernabéu and their opponents, looking forward to the occasion with healthy tension.

Eberl added it is about simply doing what they can, and that they can do a lot, insisting the group have earned that trust.
