Tomorrow night, the Santiago Bernabeu will provide the setting for a heavyweight UEFA Champions League encounter as Real Madrid take on Bayern Munich in the first leg of the quarter-finals.

Leading up to the blockbuster clash, there have been some doubts about the availability of the Bavarians’ key striker, Harry Kane.

The English goal machine did not play for his national team during the international break due to a minor injury and sat out of Bayern’s most recent fixture this past weekend – a 3-2 win over SC Freiburg.

However, he was able to train normally with the group ahead of the German champions’ flight to Madrid earlier today.

Harry Kane update

And, Bayern Munich director Max Eberl has now issued a positive update on Kane’s condition ahead of the game against Bayern Munich.

The Bavarians’ executive confirmed that the England international had done everything necessary to make himself available for tomorrow’s encounter at the Bernabeu.

“Harry Kane has done everything he can to be involved vs Real Madrid, he even participated in the final training session,” Eberl confirmed, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

Regarding the possibility of whether he will be in the starting lineup for Bayern tomorrow night, Eberl added:

“Whether he starts tomorrow or not is Vinnie’s decision. But he’s there and he feels good.”

Nonetheless, Kane’s availability for the match will come as a concern for Real Madrid, for the England international has been in unstoppable form this season.

Indeed, so far in 2025/26, the former Tottenham Hotspur superstar has plundered 48 goals from just 40 matches in all competitions, while also chipping in with five assists.

With him set to be fit and available, the task of stopping Kane will fall onto the shoulders of veteran Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger.
