Benfica, Porto and Sporting keen on Fábio Baldé | OneFootball

Fábio Baldé’s form for Hamburg has drawn interest from several European clubs, with Benfica, Porto and Sporting monitoring the 20-year-old winger.

The Portugal youth international can operate on either flank and came through the German club’s academy. Bild claims one suitor had a January offer turned down, while Transfermarkt values him at three million euros.

Injuries have limited his minutes this season, and he has been working off the pitch to reduce the risk of further problems. He has been supported by Yannick Lambrecht, the club’s osteopath and physiotherapist, who also works with ATP tennis players.

José Mourinho is targeting specific profiles, seeking greater speed to raise Benfica’s intensity. Recruitment plans span several roles, with a centre-back and a winger prioritised, and a goalkeeper, midfielder and striker also under consideration. Kerim Alajbegoivc is another Benfica target.

This campaign Baldé has made 14 appearances for Hamburg, providing one assist. His progress was interrupted by an injury from late January to early March.
