Boey declines offers as he wants to stay at Bayern

Sacha Boey could stay as a Bayern player after he rejected more offers for a January transfer. The French defender prefers to leave the club as a free agent at the end of his contract.

According to Bild, Olympique Lyonnais were the latest club to be rejected by the 25-year-old. There were also interests from Premier League clubs, but Bayern’s interest in cashing in on the player is facing a race against time as the transfer window closes on Monday.

The former Galatasaray fullback made his first appearance of the year in the 2-1 win over PSV. His last game was on the first day of November when Bayern saw off Bayer Leverkusen with a rotated team.
