Yassine Bounou’s future at Al-Hilal is in serious doubt, with the club weighing up removing him from their domestic list and registering Saudi international Mohammed Al-Owais instead to free a foreign slot.

Le Site Info Sport reports that officials plan to meet Bounou once he returns from his summer break to decide whether he stays or leaves this window, and that he has little appetite for a backup role limited to the AFC Champions League Elite.
