Liverpool will face off against Burnley at Turf Moor this Sunday afternoon as they look to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Reds managed to earn a narrow 1-0 win over Arsenal before the international break, which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.

Arne Slot will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation once again and could make one change to his first team for this contest. Conor Bradley is expected to play from the start of this game, while Curtis Jones makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Defence

Alisson Becker will function in between the sticks for the Reds after keeping a clean sheet in his last league appearance. Ibrahima Konate will resume his partnership with Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of the Liverpool backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.

Conor Bradley will fill in as the right-back, while Milos Kerkez hopes to prove his worth as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.

Joe Gomez and Andrew Robertson will be named on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield

Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch will anchor the midfield for the Merseyside club as they focus on establishing their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.

The gifted trio of Cody Gakpo, Florian Wirtz and Mohamed Salah will play just ahead of them as part of the Liverpool attack. All three of them would be eager to get their names on the scoresheet at Turf Moor this weekend.

Curtis Jones and Rio Ngumoha will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Hugo Ekitike will lead the line for Liverpool up top. He has already managed to score three times for Liverpool this season and would hope to continue his good form against Burnley this Sunday afternoon.

Alexander Isak is expected to be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages of the game if required.
