CAF Cup: AS Otoho bounces back with a crushing win over Belouizdad

Association sportive Otoho d'Oyo responded brilliantly after their defeat in South Africa (1-0 against Stellenbosch). This Saturday in Brazzaville, the Congolese club dominated CR Belouizdad with a commanding 4-1 victory on Matchday 2 of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

The Congolese side wasted no time taking control: Ndecket opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Bandiougou doubled the lead in the 26th. Elenga added a third just moments later (29th). In a matter of minutes, Otoho surged ahead 3-0, putting CRB under immense pressure.

In the second half, Obembi netted the fourth goal in the 65th minute. CRB managed to pull one back, but it was too little, too late: the Algerians leave Brazzaville suffering a heavy defeat. Thanks to this emphatic victory, AS Otoho d’Oyo remains well positioned in their group and is right back in the race for qualification.
