César Saad has updated the police probe into missing and irregular club kit at Corinthians. He said work continues weekly with the São Paulo state prosecutor.
According to Meu Timao, Saad said Drade is handling suspected diversion of kit and has already taken statements, while any corporate card matter sits elsewhere.
In October, police opened a theft inquiry covering CT Joaquim Grava and Parque São Jorge. On three November 2025, Marcelo Munhoes filed a 94-page audit to president Osmar Stabile, flagging control failures and a burst Nike quota.
Saad said past control failures hamper accounting and tracing, and that while investigators found social media pages possibly reselling items, there is no proof they were club items.
Internally, on four February the club’s Justice Commission began staff hearings. Ex-administrative manager Rafael Salomão and administrative director Fábio Soares appeared, but CT employee Francisco Vinícius Godoy did not, the report said president Osmar Stabile blocked him, causing friction with Council chief Romeu Tuma Júnior.
On 11, Corinthians dismissed Salomão, who liaised with Nike and ran the Parque São Jorge storeroom. The decision was said to reflect storage failings and an attempt to discredit the audit during his testimony.
The audit also flagged heavy withdrawal requests by second vice-president Armando Mendonça, other directors and Stabile, and the absence of a formal inventory since September 2021. Armando later served Munhoes notice, denied diversion and pledged to cooperate, posting warehouse photos.
