Chelsea got their Champions League campaign back on track with a dominant 4-0 win over Paris FC at Stamford Bridge.
After a frustrating 1-1 draw with Twente, Sonia Bompastor’s side rediscovered their attacking flair, scoring four times and creating chance after chance.
The Blues broke the deadlock in the 31st minute when Sandy Baltimore gave Chelsea the lead from the penalty spot. Just before the break, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd doubled their advantage with a superb looping header.
Alyssa Thompson then scored her first Chelsea goal moments into the second half, and Erin Cuthbert bundled in a fourth after a Sam Kerr header slipped through the goalkeeper’s hands.
Chelsea controlled the game throughout, hitting the woodwork and keeping Paris at bay, and remain unbeaten in all competitions after eight matches this season.
