Once again we are hearing stories of a Chelsea board member storming into the Chelsea dressing room after a game at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues drew 1-1 with Arsenal on Sunday evening in their latest Premier League game before the current international break.
It was a hard-fought game for both sides and Chelsea more than matched Arsenal. I actually said after the game that I think Chelsea would have been a bit disappointed that they didn’t win the game in the end, because The Gunners were actually there for the taking really.
But in the end, Chelsea would have certainly taken the draw, and I am sure that most at the club were content with getting a point against a team who are apparent title challengers this season.
Eghbali in the Chelsea dressing room again
Interesting wording used in this report, as if Chelsea co-owner Behdad Eghbali was mad after the game and went flying into the dressing room, but I very much doubt it was like that.
Even still, London World report that after the Arsenal game on Sunday, Behdad Eghbali stormed into the dressing room and was one of the last people to leave.
He apparently entered with co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, but he then stayed behind even after the two directors left.
Eghbali only emerged when almost all the Chelsea players, including the manager, had already left the room.
It is nothing unusual to hear about the Chelsea owners going into the dressing room after the game, we heard a lot about this last season when Mauricio Pochettino was the head coach. However, you’d imagine that this season when they do it is is under different circumstances and a better atmosphere due to how much better the team are doing.
