Chelsea could terminate Mykhailo Mudryk’s contract if his suspension is confirmed | OneFootball

According to a report from L’Équipe, Chelsea are still supportive of Mykhailo Mudryk (25) despite his pending suspension for a doping violation. The Ukrainian international attacker is currently banned from playing football after testing positive for a banned substance during a doping test. 

The FA are currently investigating the former Shakhtar Donetsk forward regarding the positive test, and if he is found to have breached the rules of the football association, he could be facing a 4-year ban from football. Mudryk is being represented by the same lawyers who defended Paul Pogba in his doping case.

Mudryk’s contract to be terminated at Chelsea?

For the moment, whilst the FA continue to investigate, the Premier League club are supporting their player who is banned from playing or training with them. However, should he be found to have violated doping rules, the 25-year-old could see his 8-and-a-half year deal at Stamford Bridge terminated.
