A major twist has emerged in the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Vinicius Jr.’s future at Real Madrid.
According to reports from SPORT, Chelsea are prepared to place a staggering €150 million offer on the table in an attempt to lure the Brazilian star to Stamford Bridge.
With the player’s contract situation still unresolved and negotiations dragging on longer than expected, the scenario has opened the door for foreign clubs to test Madrid’s resolve.
Despite recent speculation suggesting renewal talks were progressing, the reality appears far more complicated.
Real Madrid and Vinicius’ camp remain at odds over the financial package of a new contract, and the longer the standstill continues, the more suitors are encouraged to enter the race.
European clubs, as well as Saudi Arabian sides, have been monitoring the situation closely, sensing an opportunity should the relationship between player and club deteriorate further.
Among the teams keeping their eyes firmly on the developments, the Premier League stands out as the most aggressive market.

English clubs possess the financial muscle to execute blockbuster signings, and Vinicius, considered one of the most valuable players, fits perfectly into that profile.
Although several Premier League giants have expressed interest, none had advanced towards a concrete bid until now.
That has changed with Chelsea. As per the outlet, the FIFA Club World Cup winners are willing to commit €150 million to secure Vinicius’ signature.
Their long-term project reportedly envisions pairing him with Joao Pedro and Estevao to form a new-look attack capable of dominating the league.
Meanwhile, PSG remain attentive to Vinicius’ situation. Though it is said that Luis Enrique is hesitant about approving a full-scale pursuit, voices within the French club are not ruling out a move.
Some see an opportunity to strike back at Madrid by targeting one of their most prized assets.
With renewal talks still unresolved, the pressure surrounding Vinicius is only expected to intensify in coming months.
