Chelsea have reached an agreement with Brighton to sign forward Joao Pedro for a fee in excess of £50 million according to the Athletic's Davind Ornstein.
The 23-year-old had been heavily linked with a move to Newcastle, but only ever wanted the Blues according to the report, and is set to put pen to paper on a seven-year contract.
Pedro has scored 30 goals in 70 appearances for Brigthton since joining the club in the summer of 2023 from Watford, with 20 of those coming in a brilliant debut campaign.
Capped three times for Brazil, he will become the latest forward to join Enzo Maresca's side, the latest big-money signing for the club, and the latest to miove to Stamford Bridge from the Seagulls.
