Chelsea have their sights trained on a historic Champions League comeback as they welcome Paris Saint-Germain to Stamford Bridge for their last-16 second-leg tonight. The Blues matched the Ligue 1 leaders for much of the first leg, but come into the reverse fixture trailing by three goals after falling apart in the final 15 minutes of the match. Filip Jorgensen’s misplaced pass gifted Vitinha the chance to put PSG’s noses in front late on, before super-sub Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored a brace to put the Blues to the sword.

Liam Rosenior made clear in his pre-match media duties that he feels Chelsea are capable of such a remontada, but the odds, and history, are understandably against them. No club has turned over a three-goal deficit in the Champions League since 2019, when Liverpool came from behind to stun Barcelona at Anfield.
