Paris Saint-Germain considered a move for Christopher Nkunku during the winter transfer window but ultimately decided against making a formal offer. The French forward remained at Chelsea, though talk of a possible summer exit continues to linger.

Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52 million. Nonetheless, he has struggled to stay fit and secure a consistent place in the starting lineup. A mix of injuries and strong competition has raised questions about his long-term role at Stamford Bridge.

Journalist Ben Jacobs reported that PSG looked into a potential deal but chose to step back. Bayern Munich also passed on a January move, though Sport Bild’s Christian Falk says the club may reignite its interest later this year.

On Saturday, Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Christopher Nkunku has decided to leave Chelsea this summer. His contract runs through 2029 — but talks about a potential move are underway.

Recently, TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, shared the latest on Nkunku’s future, noting that the player’s representatives are actively exploring a possible move. Bailey expressed that the Frenchman’s camp is offering the player to other Premier League sides.

“As it stands I am told that a move to Europe is the most likely option – but his people are touching base with clubs in England,” Bailey said. “Arsenal, Liverpool, Man United, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Tottenham have all been spoken to in the past few months. Chelsea want to recoup as much of their plus £50m outlay, but that looks difficult at this juncture.”
