Chubut supporters follow Argentina at the World Cup in the United States | OneFootball

Argentines have travelled in large numbers to the United States to watch the national team defend the crown won in Qatar four years ago, according to SuperDepor.com. Among them are many supporters from Chubut.

Víctor Pérez was pictured in an Argentina shirt alongside a Trelew-Chubut flag. He used the pages of Diario EL CHUBUT to send greetings to his son, Esteban Pérez Bahamonde, who is based in Sweden and was a schoolmate of Salvador Santos, shown in a San Lorenzo shirt.

Groups of young fans have also made the trip. From Rawson-Playa Unión, Gustavo Malbárez, Bruno Obelar and Marcelo Battistoti were photographed by the newspaper.

Another group of chubutenses is also present, though they could not be photographed. They include three from Rawson, Marcos Kusanic, Santiago Alassia and Santiago Kusanic.

The report notes there are many more compatriots from the province, with efforts under way to find and photograph them for Diario EL CHUBUT’s pages.
