City's Academy: The month ahead | OneFootball

Here is all the information you need to know ahead of the November fixtures for our Under-18s and Elite Development Squad.

Either side of the November international break, both teams will be busy competing in various competitions again as the fixture schedule continues to heat up before the rest bite over Christmas.

Following a difficult October, Ben Wilkinson and his EDS will be looking to build momentum in November as we hope to move closer to securing our place in the knockouts of the PL2, UEFA Youth League and Premier League International Cup.

And our Under-18s will be looking to extend our lead at the top of the Under-18 Premier League North table and confirm our place in the knockout stage in the Under-18 Premier League Cup.

EDS FIXTURES

City v Borussia Dortmund | Wednesday 5 November, 15:00 (UK) | UEFA Youth League, live on CITY+

We begin the month with European football for our Under-19s. We welcome German outfit Borussia Dortmund to the Joie Stadium for our fourth Youth League game.

After two wins and one loss, City will be looking to get back to winning ways as we fight for a place in the top 22.

Brighton v City | Sunday 9 November, 15:00 (UK) | Premier League 2

It’s a quick turnaround for the EDS who then travel to Brighton for our latest PL2 assignment.

Following our 4-0 win over Leicester, City will be keen to build up some momentum in the league as the race for a place in the play-offs heats up.

City v Bayer Leverkusen | Tuesday 25 November, 15:00 (UK) | UEFA Youth League, live on CITY+

After the November international break, City’s Under-19s return with a home tie against Bayer Leverkusen in the Youth League.

City v PSV Eindhoven | Friday 28 November, 19:00 (UK) | PL International Cup, live on CITY+

To complete the month, we welcome PSV Eindhoven to the Joe Stadium for our first Premier League International Cup group game.

We are playing in the competition for the first time in a decade, with our last time out seeing us win the trophy.

And Wilkinson’s Under-21s will be looking to make a positive start against the Dutch side.

UNDER-18s FIXTURES

City v Burnley | Saturday 1 November, 11:00 (UK) | Under-18 Premier League North, live on CITY+

Reiss and his team begin the month with a first-ever league game against Burnley following their promotion to the competition.

Kick-off at the CFA is scheduled for 11:00 (UK), with the game available to watch live on CITY+.

Middlesbrough v City | Saturday 8 November, 11:00 (UK) | Under-18 Premier League North, live on CITY+

Then our young boys in blue hit the road with a trip to Middlesbrough.

City v Sheffield United | Saturday 22 November, 11:00 (UK) | Under-18 Premier League Cup, live on CITY+

In our final group game of the Under-18 Premier League Cup, a win will see City top the group and advance to the knockout stage.

City v Nottingham Forest | Saturday 29 November, 11:00 (UK) | Under-18 Premier League North, live on CITY+

To complete November, City have another game on home soil, this time welcoming Forest to the CFA for an 11:00 (UK) kick-off on Saturday 29 November.

Another win will help move our youngsters one step closer to retaining the North title. And CITY+ subscribers will be able to watch all the action live.
