But the future hasn’t arrived just yet.

Stefan Ortega deserves the opportunity to be a number-one goalkeeper elsewhere. His contribution to Manchester City has been profound and the hope is that he can find a permanent move in the coming weeks. James McAtee, Jack Grealish, and Kalvin Phillips should all secure moves by the close of the transfer window, which will be a relief to them and the City hierarchy.
