Kompany made it clear at the matchday press conference ahead of the Bundesliga clash against Union Berlin that the focus is currently exclusively on individual development. „There is no team training during the international break. All the players are away. We are always in very close contact with Jamal – depending on how he is developing and how he feels.“

The 39-year-old emphasized that Musiala is currently working away from team training. „At the moment, everything is individual. He’ll come back into the group at the right time.“
