Crystal Palace would expect around £34 million if they are cornered into selling Daniel Munoz in January, as per Bolavip.

This comes after the full-back publicly expressed his desire to play for one of Europe’s typical ‘giants’, telling AS Colombia: “First of all, I think there’s a lot of talk about one club or another. It would be a dream to play for one of these clubs, whether it’s Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, or Manchester United.

“I think I’m working towards that. I strive every day to one day attract the attention of one of these clubs, because for me, it’s a dream to get there.

“I don’t have concrete information that any of these clubs are interested in me. My focus is on Crystal Palace.”

What’s United stance on signing Munoz?

While undoubtedly one of the more reliable in his position across the Premier League this term, it’s thought United have no desire to sign Munoz anytime soon.

Palace’s price tag will pose as way too costly for the Red Devils mid-season, during which their attention will be almost fully on the midfield if any reinforcements are to be made.

On the other hand, United will be waiting patiently to see what kind of fee is attached to Munoz’s teammate, Adam Wharton, who continues to be heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.

United eyeing Palace star for 2026 – but not Munoz

The England star sits firmly on INEOS’ shortlist for the summer of 2026, as do fellow Premier League-proven young talents such as Carlos Baleba and Elliot Anderson.

Wharton continues to establish himself as one of the most coveted in his position across Europe, and his reputation – and subsequent valuation – could skyrocket if he is called up to represent the Three Lions at next year’s World Cup and impresses for his nation.
