Corinthians have cleared centre-back Félix Torres to travel to Porto Alegre to finalise a loan move to Internacional, running to the end of 2026, ge.globo reports.

The Ecuadorian said his goodbyes at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava and will undergo medical tests before signing, with the clubs set to split his wages. The deal includes a purchase option, with figures undisclosed.

Talks had been advanced since last week but were delayed by a debt owed to the player, estimated at 500,000 dollars, roughly R$ 2.7 million. A proposal to settle the amount was put forward in recent days, leaving the decision with the defender.

Torres joined in January 2024 from Santos Laguna for 6.5 million dollars. Delayed instalments triggered a FIFA transfer ban that was lifted last Friday. Corinthians hold 80 percent of his rights and his deal runs to December 2027.

He made 80 appearances, 73 as a starter, scoring once, but slipped to fifth choice under Dorival Júnior behind Gustavo Henrique, André Ramalho, João Pedro Tchoca and Cacá. Gabriel Paulista's arrival prompted the loan solution.

Corinthians also agreed to loan midfielder Ryan, 22, to Fortaleza until the end of 2026, with an option to buy. He has been authorised to travel to Ceará for medicals and to sign.

That loan was envisaged in the agreement to sign Matheus Pereira, who is in São Paulo to join for one year. Ryan has 59 senior games, 22 starts, one goal and two assists.
