Corinthians have settled January salaries and image rights for their women’s squad before flying to London for the FIFA Champions Cup, but prize bonuses remain outstanding.

According to Meu Timao, wages and image rights are due on the 15th of each month, yet cash-flow problems at the start of 2026 delayed the payment.

Bonuses owed for the Brasileiro and Libertadores titles, plus runners-up finishes in the Supercopa do Brasil and Campeonato Paulista, are still open. The club received R$ 16.4 million from those competitions.

The club had planned to propose an instalment deal, with a first payment before the team’s tournament debut, using funds from prize money passed on by sponsor Ezze Seguros for the men’s Copa do Brasil title. This has not happened so far.

Corinthians begin their FIFA Champions Cup campaign on Wednesday 28 January, facing Gotham FC of the United States in the semi-final. Kick-off is 9:30 Brasília time at the GTech Community Stadium in London.
