Corinthians’ Conselho Deliberativo approved the 2025 accounts on 27 April. That decision is now challenged after associate and ex-councillor Leandro Cano, a judge, filed two petitions to acting president Leonardo Pantaleão seeking annulment and probes into the Conselho Fiscal.

According to Meu Timao, Cano wants inquiries into Cláudio Senise and Paulo Pimentel for alleged negligence in recommending approval with reservations. He cites a Parker Russell note on a PGFN tax deal effective from February 2026 and the two working days for review.

He also flags statutory breaches, including missing monthly disclosures, a skipped semi-annual budget review and expenses above five minimum wages without three quotes. He lists undocumented cash payments and Neo Química Arena costs booked to Corinthians’ CNPJ.

Cano says political turbulence and past financial problems were used as legally irrelevant reasons. He adds that Haroldo Dantas, president of the Conselho Fiscal, took part in the meeting then abstained.

In a second filing, he alleges incurable legal defects in the approval chain. He says Dantas acted despite a precautionary removal by the Comissão de Ética e Disciplina, voiding the CF opinion and the Cori and Conselho Deliberativo votes. He adds that auditor warnings were ignored and that approval with reservations lacks statutory basis.

Cano asks Pantaleão to void the CF meeting and the later Cori and council acts, enforce Dantas’s removal, demand technical replies to each audit caveat, then reopen the review. No statutory deadline applies, and Pantaleão is in Colombia overseeing fan logistics before Wednesday’s Santa Fe match.
