Corinthians draw level for most home clean sheets in the Brasileirão this century

Following a 3-0 win over Remo on Thursday, Corinthians moved joint-top for most home clean sheets in the Brasileirão this century.

According to Meu Timao, the tally stands at 230 home matches without conceding, level with Grêmio, with Athletico Paranaense next on 228.

This season, Corinthians have kept five clean sheets in nine home outings at Neo Química Arena. They beat Red Bull Bragantino 2-0, Vasco 1-0 and Atlético Mineiro 1-0, and drew 0-0 with Palmeiras.

The Remo game was also their first clean sheet in almost two months.

Corinthians visit Bahia on Sunday at Arena Fonte Nova at 16:00 in the 20ª rodada. They will then host Athletico Paranaense on Thursday at 19:30, aiming to take the lead outright.
