Corinthians supporters protested outside Parque São Jorge ahead of a Deliberative Council vote on statute reform, which was cancelled by Romeu Tuma Júnior. Fans unfurled banners despite heavy rain.

According to Meu Timao, demands included voting rights for Fiel Torcedor, the expulsion of associates accused of stealing, and the removal of Augusto Melo, Duilio Monteiro Alves and Andrés Sanchez.

The Military Police monitored the area and did not intervene. Demonstrations remained peaceful.

The three former presidents did not take part. Augusto was removed in August last year, while Duilio and Andrés are under investigation over alleged misuse of corporate cards and are suspended from the council on prosecutors’ advice.

Organised groups Camisa 12, Coringão Chopp and Pavilhão 9 sought oversight inside and pushed for item-by-item voting, even if it took days.

After the cancellation, councillors left amid accusations traded between club president Osmar Stabile and council chair Romeu Tuma Júnior, prompting fresh tension at the gates.

Fans halted cars and confronted officials. Former legal director Vinícius Cascone told media the claims were serious, should be formalised and proven, and that the timing left a negative image.

The vote had originally been slated for 24 October 2025, then postponed for 11 thematic meetings. The statute, drafted in 2008 and last updated in 2017, is being reviewed in light of Law 14.597/2023, with debates on Fiel Torcedor suffrage, a potential SAF, election systems and governance. The Advisory Council rejected the full draft, and Romeu Tuma Júnior said any council vote would be open, with the text to go to a General Assembly and April previously targeted.
