Corinthians match 2025 with century’s biggest April schedule | OneFootball

Corinthians will play nine matches in April for the second year in a row, matching their highest April workload of this century. According to Meu Timao, the squad are using the international break to rest and fine-tune before a packed month.

Last April, between 2 and 30 April, they played three Copa Sudamericana ties, five Brasileirão fixtures and one Copa do Brasil match, returning four wins, one draw and four defeats.

Previously, the busiest Aprils had come in 2017, 2006 and 2002 with eight games, while 2014 featured only three, excluding the pandemic-affected 2020.

Dorival Júnior's side open on 1 April against Fluminense in the ninth round of the Brasileirão and close on 30 April against Peñarol of Uruguay in the third round of the Libertadores group stage.

The schedule comprises five league games, three in the Libertadores and one in the Copa do Brasil, with dates and kick-off times still to be confirmed for Palmeiras, Vitória and Vasco da Gama, plus the first leg against Barra of Santa Catarina in the competition's fifth phase.

Kick-off is at 21:30 at the Maracanã.
