Corinthians name line-up to face Athletico-PR in delayed Campeonato Brasileiro match | OneFootball

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians have confirmed their line-up for a delayed second-round match at Athletico-PR, kicking off at 19:30 on Thursday at Arena da Baixada.

Dorival Júnior selects Hugo Souza in goal, Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique and Matheus Bidu in defence, Raniele, Matheus Pereira, Charles and Rodrigo Garro in midfield, with Vitinho and Memphis up front.

Odair Hellmann's Athletico-PR start with Santos, Terán, Arthur Dias and Esquivel, plus Benavídez, Luiz Gustavo, Zapelli and Portilla, with Mendoza, Julimar and Viveros.

Corinthians travel with a lengthy absentee list. Hugo Farias is recovering from right knee meniscus surgery, Kaio César has a right hamstring injury, and Yuri Alberto has a grade 2 tear of the left biceps femoris. Breno Bidon is back from a right thigh strain but remains in physical transition and did not travel to Curitiba.

Matheus Donelli has been allowed to take a medical at Shabab Al Ahli in the United Arab Emirates, though his exit is not yet official. José Martínez is out with a torn left ACL and is finalising a contract termination, while Cacá is close to Vitória and no longer trains with the squad.

Fabrizio Angileri is not yet match fit after returning without a pre-season, and Zakaria Labyad trains while awaiting a work visa before any official announcement.

Corinthians sit 12th on three points and could rise to fifth with a win.
