Corinthians visit Botafogo aiming to extend winning run in the NBB

Corinthians takes the court on Monday night (19th), for the fifth round of the second half of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). The team led by Jece Leite will face Botafogo at the Oscar Zelaya Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro, starting at 8:00 pm (Brasília time).

After defeating Vasco da Gama, the People’s Team will wrap up its tour in Rio de Janeiro, which also included a match against Flamengo, which ended in defeat. After that, Corinthians heads to Belo Horizonte, where they will face Minas in the quarterfinals of the Copa Super 8. Before that, they seek victory to remain among the top teams in the championship.

Probable Lineup

The coaching staff is not expected to make changes to Corinthians’ starting five. Thus, a likely lineup to start against Botafogo should include Elinho, Elyjah Clark, Davaunta Thomas (Munford), Victão, and Lucas Cauê (Gabriel Novaes).
