Corinthians without four, three one booking from suspension for Cruzeiro trip | OneFootball

Corinthians visit Cruzeiro in the Brasileirão on Wednesday at the Mineirão, kick-off 20:00, with four absentees and three players one booking from suspension.

According to Meu Timao, left-back Hugo Farias is out as he recovers from a lateral meniscus injury in his right knee. Midfielder Matheus Pereira felt his left hamstring during the win over Athletico-PR and has not been in the squad since. Forwards Kaio César, right hamstring issue, and Yuri Alberto, a grade 2 hamstring injury in his left thigh, also miss out.

Left-back Fabrizio Angileri could make his second debut after re-signing with the club. He played in 2025, then spent around a month and a half out after his deal expired, and was available to Dorival Júnior again for the first time last weekend against Portuguesa.

Dorival must also manage the disciplinary risk. Matheus Bidu, Matheuzinho and Raniele are on two yellow cards. If any are booked on Wednesday, they will be suspended for Coritiba on 11 March at Neo Química Arena, 21:30.

The match counts towards the fourth round of the league.
