Corinthians Women v Santos: where to watch, team news, line-ups, referee

On the morning of this Saturday, the 20th, Corinthians Women's team returns to the field, this time for the Paulista Championship. In a match valid for the ninth round, the Brabas host Santos at Parque São Jorge at 11 am (Brasília time), aiming to consolidate their 12-game unbeaten streak since the competitions resumed in August, which led to winning the seventh Brazilian Championship and two qualifications in the Copa do Brasil.

In the state tournament, the People's Team is in a comfortable position, leading the first phase with 21 points in eight games – overall, the team has recorded seven victories and only one defeat so far. The advantage over second-place Palmeiras is five points, and in relation to fifth-place Santos, it is 12 points (the coastal team has one game less).

Corinthians Lineup

Besides not being able to count on Letícia Monteiro and Leticia Teles, both out due to the concussion protocol activated in the match against Juventude because of a head collision they had, coach Lucas Piccinato is expected to rest other players due to the sequence of games, fielding a team composed of: Kemelli; Juliete, Thais Ferreira (Erika), Mariza (Thaís Regina) and Juliete; Dayana Rodríguez, Ivana Fuso (Vic Albuquerque) and Andressa Alves; Gisela Robledo, Eudimilla and Ariel Godoi.

Refereeing

The referee will be Marianna Nanni Batalha, assisted by Juliana Vicentin Esteves and Rodrigo Meirelles Bernardo. The fourth referee will be Pablo Rodrigo Soares de Oliveira. In this phase of the Paulista, VAR is not yet in use.

Corinthians fans who are not at Parque São Jorge this Wednesday will have several options to watch the match: Record News on free-to-air TV, Space on cable TV, CazéTV on YouTube, and the Max streaming app. After the final whistle, Central do Timão will provide a summary of what happened in the match.

Next Commitment

After facing Santos, the Brabas will turn their attention back to the Copa do Brasil. The team faces São Paulo in the quarterfinals of the competition next Wednesday, the 24th, at 6 pm, at Estádio Gabriel Marques da Silva, in Santana de Parnaíba. It is worth remembering that the match is a knockout.
