Corinthians women’s basketball, futsal play Thursday in Paulista

This Thursday, the 23rd, Corinthians fans will have a day full of decisions to follow, with the men's futsal and women's basketball teams playing important matches in the Paulista Championship. One of them, in fact, will take place at Parque São Jorge, and may count on the in-person support of the Fiel Torcida.

At 5 PM (Brasília time), the Corinthians women's basketball team faces SESI Araraquara at the Mini Gymnasium of Parque São Jorge, for the third round of the Paulista Championship realignment. Entry to the match is free, but those who can't attend in person will also have the option to watch the game on Corinthians TV.

The Furiosas come into the match on a roll. In their last game, the alvinegras delivered a great performance away from home, beating Santo André 92 x 72. With this, the team heads into the final round of the realignment in first place in Group A, and will keep this position regardless of the result, since the gap to the second place team (which is SESI Araraquara) is two wins and can no longer be overturned.

Then at 7 PM, it's time for the alvinegro futsal team to take the court for the quarterfinals of the Paulista Championship in the sport. This Thursday's challenge is away: Corinthians faces Pulo at the Rogê Ferreira Municipal Gymnasium in Campinas. The first leg of the knockout stage will be broadcast live on the FPFS channel, also on YouTube.

Corinthians futsal is also coming off a good result, after beating Carlos Barbosa 2 x 1 in the round of 16 of the National Futsal League (LNF) and qualifying for the quarterfinals of the national competition. Now, they begin the knockout stage of the state tournament, seeking another qualification under coach Fernando Malafaia.
