Inter Milan head coach Cristian Chivu will study his Parma side’s 1-0 win over Juventus in April as he prepares for his first Derby d’Italia in charge of the Nerazzurri.
Chivu’s side will travel to Turin on Saturday to take on the Bianconeri.
Juventus have started the season strong, with two wins from their first two matches.
Meanwhile, Inter suffered a shock defeat to Udinese at San Siro before the international break.
This came as even more of a surprise after the Nerazzurri looked formidable in their 5-0 opening win against Torino.

According to what has been reported in today’s edition of Italian newspaper the Corriere dello Sport, via FcInter1908, Chivu will study the past to improve the present.
In April, before taking over Inter, Chivu guided Parma to an impressive victory against Juventus.
Parma were chasing points to stay up whilst the Bianconeri were hunting down a place in the Champions League.
Despite this, Chivu’s Parma outclassed a dominant Juventus and came away with all three points.
Now, ahead of Saturday’s derby, the Corriere suggest the coach can learn from that victory to inspire another.
