Crystal Palace are eyeing a move for Cody Drameh this summer
Crystal Palace are eyeing a move to sign Hull City defender Cody Drameh this summer.
According to Football Insider, the Eagles have turned their attention to the full-back after standing out during pre-season.
Drameh made the switch to the Tigers last summer, signing a three-year deal following his exit from Leeds United.
The 23-year-old made 28 appearances in the Championship in the previous campaign, with Hull finishing just above the relegation zone in 21st place.
Crystal Palace are reportedly readying an approach to Hull for the signing of Drameh this summer.
It is believed that the Tigers will have a difficult task on their hand to keep the player amid the prospect of Premier League football.
It has been claimed that the Eagles have made contact over a potential move, with Hull previously rejecting interest from Derby County back in May.
Drameh has a contract with the Yorkshire outfit until the summer of 2027, with the club holding the option for a further year.
However, the opportunity to move to a Premier League side will be tempting, which could make it difficult for Hull to turn down this interest.
Drameh previously made four appearances in the top flight during his time with Leeds.
It has been a busy summer for Hull following their narrow survival in the Championship, with Sergej Jakirovic arriving as manager.
The team have also made a number of fresh signings, including Reda Laalaoui, Semi Ajayi, Akin Famewo, Dillon Phillips and Joel Ndala, who has arrived on loan.
Gustavo Puerta has also completed a permanent move to the MKM Stadium after spending the previous campaign on loan.
Hull will begin their Championship season with a trip to face Coventry City on 9 August in a 12.30pm kick-off in the CBS Arena.
Palace are a team on the up after they won the FA Cup last season under Oliver Glasner.
The Eagles have managed to keep the squad together over the summer, and their form in the league in the second half of the campaign was also massively encouraging.
While regular game time might be harder to come by at Selhurst Park, the London outfit will still be able to offer minutes in the Premier League next season and potentially in Europe.
Drameh is someone Hull should look to keep, but if a sizable enough offer arrives then they could potentially be tempted into a sale by Palace.
