Solly March is edging towards a Brighton comeback after a serious knee injury, having not featured since the latter stages of last season.
Dale Stephens said: “Solly now falls into that figure of being an experienced player. Someone you know what you are getting when you put him on a football pitch.” He was speaking to BBC Radio Sussex.
“I think the heights that he hit under De Zerbi was probably the best form of his career. To suffer a setback so soon after that can be so frustrating. I am sure the view of getting back will keep him going.”
Head coach Fabian Hurzeler said last Friday: “Solly, I think, will be back in in two, three weeks.”
March returned from a knee injury sustained at the Etihad about this time last year, then scored a superb goal at Norwich City in the third round of the FA Cup. He would love a repeat this season.
