Bayern FC is still waiting for Dayot Upamecano's response regarding his contract extension. The club has set a deadline of February 1, according to Christian Falk from Bild.

The 27-year-old French defender could earn €20 million per year, with a €20 million signing bonus and a release clause of around €65 million for 2027. The proposed contract would run until 2031. Bayern now wants a definitive answer: if Upamecano declines, the club will immediately begin searching for a replacement.
