Spain and Argentina have confirmed their starting line-ups for the 2026 World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, kick-off 21:00.

Luis de la Fuente sticks with the side that has carried Spain this far. According to Superdeporte, Unai Simón starts in goal with Pedro Porro, Pau Cubarsí, Aymeric Laporte and Marc Cucurella across defence.

Fabián Ruiz retains his place ahead of Pedri in midfield, joining Rodri and Dani Olmo. The attack is unchanged, with Álex Baena, Lamine Yamal and Mikel Oyarzabal leading the line. Spain chase a second world crown.

Lionel Scaloni opts for a familiar Argentina, but with three alterations. Montiel comes into defence, while Rodrigo de Paul and Nico González are added in midfield. Emiliano Dibu Martínez starts in goal, with Cristian Romero, Lisandro Martínez and Nicolás Tagliafico completing the back line.

Enzo Fernández and Alexis Mac Allister join De Paul and González in midfield, with Lionel Messi and Julián Álvarez up front. Compared with the semi-final, Nahuel Molina, Giuliano Simeone and Leandro Paredes drop out, Paredes ceding to De Paul. Spain line up 4-2-3-1, Argentina 4-4-2.
