Taylor Harwood-Bellis settled it in the 71st minute with a close-range finish, as Southampton won 3-1 at Sheffield Wednesday. The centre-back's strike capped a commanding display at both ends.
Early on he set the tone, winning three first half aerials and completing 38 of 42 passes to keep The Owls at arm's length. He also read danger well, making two clearances before the interval.
He then arrived on a second phase corner to finish from very close range (71.), meeting Kuryu Matsuki's delivery to restore control for Saints. From there, he managed territory and tempo.
Harwood-Bellis finished with five aerials won, six instances of possession won, five clearances and 72 of 80 passes completed, underlining how The Saints built from him while he remained a set piece threat.
The Saints rise from eighth to seventh in the Championship. They visit Fulham in the FA Cup next, while The Owls travel to Derby in the league.
How high would you rate Harwood-Bellis' performance today?
