Dino Toppmöller is close to a return to the dugout, with RC Lens poised to appoint him. Foot Mercato reports that the 45-year-old will take charge on a two-year contract.
The move would come roughly six months after he left Eintracht Frankfurt, having been dismissed in January.

He is set to replace Pierre Sage, who is expected to join Crystal Palace to succeed Oliver Glasner.
Sage led Lens to second place in Ligue 1 last season, and also delivered a French Cup triumph.
AC Milan, Crystal Palace and clubs from Saudi Arabia were also interested in Toppmöller.
