West Ham want fans to be patient as the quiet-so-far transfer window reopens this summer.

It’s no secret that there is an enormous task ahead for the likes of Head of Recruitment Kyle Macaulay and boss Graham Potter, as the club look to rebuild the squad to align with the vision of the former Chelsea manager.

This far there has been very little to be excited about in east London, with little to no strong moves for players appearing to be underway, with a constant message of ‘we need to sell’ being peddled by the club almost daily.

However, we understand that there is a real confidence amongst the team behind the scenes that this will be a successful window, with movement expected to happen in the coming weeks.

West Ham, although appearing quiet, are said to be narrowing down on key targets, with a real desire to inject youth and pace into an ageing Hammers side.

Graham Potter is very much in control and has the full backing, but the club are keen to offload as they recognise that funds are needed whilst also to trim down the squad numbers.
