Attacker has two goals and two assists since £67m move
Arsenal star Eberechi Eze insists he is not feeling the pressure of his price tag.
Eze joined Arsenal from Crystal Palace in the summer as part of a deal worth an initial fee of £60million.
The midfielder has described the move as a “dream” because he is a boyhood Arsenal fan and was released by the club’s academy at the age of 13.
Eze has scored two goals and contributed two assists since returning to Arsenal, and is adamant his hefty price tag is not weighing him down.
“Pressure? For me? No. Pressure, no, because I think that is just how my belief system is set up,” Eze told the Beast Mode On podcast.
“I don’t feel the pressure because of what I believe, and the faith that I have. I feel like I have been put in a position, because a club like Arsenal deemed it worthy.

“They pay that money because you are worth that money. Putting it into numbers is hard, because my belief system is set up on a different thing.
“But it is an opportunity. It is an opportunity to go play, do my stuff, be the player that I know I can be - and then you will tell me if I was worth the money or not.”
Eze says Arsenal is a “special place” to be right now, and he is relishing the fight for silverware.
The 27-year-old has settled in quickly - thanks in part to the fact that he knows several players from England duty.
But he has admitted how the spotlight off the pitch is a big change from his time at Crystal Palace.
There is a lot more surrounding Arsenal than there is Palace, you have to consider so much more
Eberechi Eze
“It’s up a level, in terms of attention,” said Eze. “There is a lot more surrounding Arsenal than there is Palace.
“You have to consider so much more. There are a lot more eyes on you. You get noticed a bit more.
“It is different off the football pitch. On the football pitch, it is the same. You are playing the same game, you are playing to win, you are having the same types of conversations.
“Different processes and systems, but still the same principles. But, off the pitch is a big shift.
“I feel like that is a natural progression in football as you move club and you move on and upwards, things starts to shift a bit and this was expected.
“It is something I am enjoying and I am trying to handle with grace. It is a blessing.”
