Emanuel Emegha to join Chelsea in 2026 | OneFootball

Chelsea have secured a deal to sign 22-year-old Emmanuel Emegha from Strasbourg in 2026.

The Blues have acted quickly to bring in the forward from BlueCo’s sister club, amid speculation that several Premier League and Champions League sides were monitoring his situation.

During the summer window, clubs including Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Newcastle were linked with the Dutch striker, who captains the Ligue 1 side, but it now seems Stamford Bridge is where his long-term future lies.

Emegha is set to pen a seven-year contract with Chelsea and is expected to arrive next summer once the current season wraps up.

The announcement comes just a day after Chelsea were reportedly expecting a fine - rather than a points deduction or transfer ban - following self-reported information that led the FA to charge the club with 74 alleged rule breaches.
