Who gets your vote for March’s Etihad Women’s Player of the Month award?

City picked up seven points from a possible nine in the Barclays Women’s Super League across the month, edging ever nearer to the title.

The Blues were held to a goalless draw at Aston Villa after the international break but followed that up with emphatic wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

We’re nine points clear with just three matches remaining, though that lead would be cut down to five if Arsenal won their two games in hand.

After another successful month for City, you can select your Etihad Player of the Month from the three-player shortlist below…

Bunny Shaw

The WSL’s top scorer continues to enjoy a remarkable individual campaign in front of goal.

Her hat-trick in a 5-2 win against Tottenham Hotspur, scored in just 21 minutes and 37 seconds, was the quickest in WSL history and took her tally to 18, six clear of her closest rival.

While she didn’t add to that tally at Old Trafford in City’s 3-0 victory over Manchester United, her link play, energy and physical presence were crucial in helping us pick up an important three points.

It’s hard to look past the goals, but there’s so much more to the Jamaican’s game than her incredible knack for finding the net.

Alex Greenwood

Once again, our captain led by example across March, helping us pick up two clean sheets from three matches.

Operating out on the left or as a third centre-half, Greenwood kept the lively Chastity Grant quiet in our 0-0 draw at Villa Park, before picking up an assist against Spurs at the Joie Stadium.

The England international’s threat from set plays is well known, and she added another assist to her tally with a perfectly delivered corner to Vivianne Miedema for our first goal at Old Trafford one week later.

This could be a special season for City, and Greenwood’s consistency and leadership have been integral to that success.

Sam Coffey

Despite only joining the Club in January, US international Coffey has fit seamlessly into Andrée Jeglertz’s well-oiled machine.

The midfielder was an ever-present for City across March, developing an excellent partnership with Laura Blindkilde Brown in the absence of Yui Hasegawa against Aston Villa and Spurs.

When the Japan international did return to the fold against Manchester United, her and Coffey delivered a midfield masterclass to help us gain a statement win.

Smart and precise in possession but also committed and energetic without the ball, our number 17 has been an excellent addition to our squad at a crucial time in the season.
