The Danish striker has scored just once in nine appearances this season, a far cry from the prolific form that saw him hit 13 goals in 19 matches after arriving in January.
Before that, he managed 23 in 47 for Sturm Graz and six in 15 for Motherwell, earning a reputation as a reliable finisher across Europe.
This campaign, however, has been a little different. His solitary goal came in a 5-2 win over Metz, and while he admitted it was a relief to get off the mark, Biereth insists there is no concern about his current return.

“When I came, it was a new thing for the team to have this type of striker, and I think a lot of eyes were on me. It was a big change,” he said. “Now I’m more used to it, and the teams are getting used to it, too, so from my point of view, I’m adapting to it.”
After scoring against Metz, Biereth marked the moment with a simple “Finally” on his Instagram story. Yet he sees his current spell as just part of the natural rhythm of a striker’s season.
“It’s like London buses, when one comes, they all come, so I’m not too worried about it,” he told Get French Football News.

Arsenal signed Biereth from Fulham’s academy in 2021 but quickly sent him out on a series of loans with RKC Waalwijk, Motherwell and Sturm Graz before he signed for the Austrians on a permanent deal for €9m in 2024.
Just six months later, they sold him to Monaco for €13m.
In total, Biereth played 26 times for Arsenal’s u21s, scoring 12 and assisting five.
