Sheffield Wednesday supporters have been told to arrive early for Saturday's clash with West Bromwich Albion amid takeover news
Sheffield Wednesday supporters have witnessed an incredibly challenging Championship campaign, but prospective owner David Storch is set to give the Owls light at the end of the tunnel.
The South Yorkshire club remain in administration, while Storch is vying to complete his takeover by Friday, one day before Henrik Pedersen's men host West Bromwich Albion for their final game of the season.
Wednesday currently sit on -3 points, having been deducted 18 points as a punishment for former owner Dejphon Chansiri's severe financial mismanagement, while they have won just one league game in 45 attempts.
One of the toughest moments of the Owls' woeful campaign came in February, when they were relegated to League One following a defeat to fierce rivals Sheffield United.
However, the Hillsborough Stadium side can end the Championship season on a positive note by earning their first home win of the season against West Brom.
Wednesday supporters have impressively ensured that their fixture against the Baggies is sold out, which will help generate a memorable atmosphere in S6.

Both Wednesday and West Brom can play with freedom on the final day of the season, as the Owls have already been relegated to League One, whereas the Baggies have secured their Championship status.
James Morrison's men ensured that they will be playing their football in the second tier next season, despite their two-point deduction, by drawing 0-0 with promotion contenders Ipswich Town last time out.
Meanwhile, as reported by the Sheffield Star, Wednesday fans have been told to arrive as early as possible ahead of their clash with West Brom.
The game kicks off at 12.30pm on Saturday, but plans have been made amid a sell-out crowd.
According to the Star, several family members of the Owls' prospective directors are set to arrive at Hillsborough Stadium from the US this week.
That is a key indication that the Arise consortium's takeover, led by Storch, remains on track ahead of the Friday deadline the American has set himself.
Wednesday supporters have already been asked to turn up to the game in Hawaiian fancy dress, and to bring inflatables, while the completion of the takeover will only add to the party atmosphere at Hillsborough Stadium.
The Arise consortium have made a positive impression on boss Pedersen, while completing their transaction at the earliest possible opportunity would allow the South Yorkshire side to be active in the summer transfer window.

Wednesday's season of hardship, both under Chansiri and in administration, has predictably prompted several departures from Hillsborough Stadium.
Former boss Danny Rohl left S6 last summer and was followed out of South Yorkshire by the likes of Anthony Musaba and Josh Windass, who were previously key players for the Owls.
However, one key figure who has remained at Wednesday despite all of their off-field worries is Rohl's ex-assistant Pedersen, who admirably stepped up to the manager role in his club's time of need.
The fact that the S6 club have mustered just one win in 45 Championship attempts is not a glowing endorsement of the 48-year-old's managerial ability.
He has been an excellent figurehead at Hillsborough Stadium throughout their nightmare campaign, though, and deserves to see his players earn a rare victory this Saturday.
