The Academic Federation of Porto has contacted Porto City Council over a possible title celebration at Aliados that would coincide with the Queima das Fitas serenade.

FC Porto could be crowned champions on Saturday, two May, if they beat Alverca at the Estádio do Dragão in the 32nd round of the I Liga.

According to O Jogo, the federation is concerned about potential crowds at Aliados during the traditional event.

Any gathering there would be spontaneous by supporters, as the club will not go to the Baixa after facing Alverca, even if they clinch the title.

Celebrations will follow the final round on 17 May, when Porto host Santa Clara.
