FCB Women to face Manchester United | OneFootball

FC Bayern Women’s quarter-final opponents in the UEFA Women’s Champions League are confirmed! The double winners will take on Manchester United in the last eight, after the Red Devils triumphed over Atlético Madrid in the play-offs. Having won 3-0 in Madrid, the English side clinched a 2-0 victory in the second leg on Thursday evening.

Return leg on the biggest stage

The first leg will take head coach José Barcala’s side to Manchester on either 24 or 25 March, while the second leg provides the Munich girls with the next big highlight of this season. The double winners will host United at the Allianz Arena in Munich on 1 April at 18:45 CEST (get your tickets here).

Good memories of past encounters

FCB Women only have good memories of recent meetings with the Red Devils. Bayern beat United 2-1 in the final of the World Sevens Football tournament in Portugal last year. FCB also came out on top 3-2 in a friendly in 2023 and 3-0 in the final of the Amos Women’s French Cup in 2022.
