Fiorentina are showing no signs of slowing in the market, and their pursuit of attacking reinforcements has led them to Franco Mastantuono.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, with reports via CalcioMercato, the Viola have set their sights on the 2007-born forward, who has struggled to establish himself at Real Madrid under successive coaches, with Flavio Ognissanti reporting that the club have made an exploratory approach for the Argentine, who also holds Italian citizenship.

Fiorentina are far from alone. Fabrizio Romano reports that more than five clubs in Spain and abroad have made enquiries in recent hours, and Madrid’s conditions are unambiguous: they will only discuss a straight loan, with no purchase option attached.
