An insight into the details of some of the heated verbal exchanges between Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. and Atlético Madrid captain Koke during this weekend’s face-off between the clubs has been forthcoming online.

And they make clear that the latter was making a clear and conscious effort to get under Vinícius’ skin.

The season’s first Madrid Derby was of course played to completion this past Saturday.

When all was said and done, it was hosts Atlético who secured the bragging rights, by way of a head-turning 5-2 triumph.

Along the way, as proves the case on every occasion the two capital clubs meet, a host of clashes between the two sets of players were noted.

And as alluded to above, on Monday, the details of several such exchanges between Koke and Vinícius have been revealed.

The info comes courtesy of Marca, citing Movistar, who have confirmed that the following words were exchanged between the Atléti and Real Madrid stars:

Vinícius:

“F**king crybaby.”

Koke (pointing at Kylian Mbappé):

“He’s the best.”

Vinícius:

“Of course, but he plays with me, and we’ll win more.”

Koke:

“He’s eating your toast!”

Vinícius:

“You always, always talk to the press. Everything I say to you, you say to the press.”
