Flamengo have reached agreement with West Ham to bring Lucas Paquetá back to Rio on a five-year deal. According to Coluna Do Fla, the return of the Cria do Ninho has sparked widespread celebration among supporters.

The clubs finalised terms on Wednesday 28 after a long negotiation.

To secure approval, Flamengo increased their offer from 41 million euros, R$ 254 million, to 42 million euros, R$ 260 million, which West Ham accepted.

Following the agreement, Paquetá is preparing to travel to Rio de Janeiro. He leaves England on Wednesday 28, with arrival expected in the early hours of Thursday 29.
