West Ham sign Adama Traoré as Lucas Paquetá seals Flamengo move

West Ham have announced the signing of right winger Adama Traoré after agreeing Lucas Paquetá’s return to Flamengo.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo raised their offer from €41 million, R$ 254 million, to €42 million, R$ 260 million. West Ham accepted and the midfielder returns on a five-year contract.

Paquetá is scheduled to leave England on Wednesday 28 and land in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday morning 29. Fans are expected to stage a warm welcome at Galeão.

West Ham confirmed Traoré’s arrival on Wednesday 28. He has been signed from Fulham to cover the gap left by Paquetá.

Meanwhile, Flamengo are in São Paulo for their Brasileirão opener against São Paulo at 21h30, Brasília time, at Morumbis.
